nah, it's all ingame. no outside edit. i've got a map with water and changed some of the vmt settings to achieve refelection and a shallow surface. then i created a scene with some props. simple as that.
the particle effect is created with the ingame "particle maker". wit hthat one you can imitate, sparks from metal, fireworks, floating particles like in here or even a dirty lens effect, like i did in here: mask1985.deviantart.com/art/Th…
for the props: i'm still working on a giant scenebuild pack. not ready for release ... yet
Do you mean the in-game "Emitter Tool" or the Particle Maker from the workshop? If the latter, do you think you would be able to whip up a short tutorial? Because I seem unable to get it down properly. The only thing I can achieve is giant floating balls of various colors :S
hehe, thank you! i want to go as much away as i can from the default HL²-look. when i see a blurry vision of an image i start putting the scene togehter. it never looks like the image in my head but most of the times i'm okay how these turn out.
